As the summer draws toward Harvest Time, think about saving seeds from your very BEST open-pollinated plants to share with your community. Your donations help the seed library reflect OUR unique climate and give next year’s gardeners a head start with varieties that have already proven themselves up to the challenges of Siskiyou County soil and weather!

As always, whether you bring seeds to donate or not, you are welcome to take seeds for your gardening adventures. There are plenty of wildflowers (and others) that prefer to be planted in the fall, so if you haven’t yet stopped by to browse our collection… come on down! It’s never a bad time to think about starting or improving your very own garden, even if you have only a sunny windowsill for a few pots of herbs.
